Why I dont ride other peoples bikes

Just took Leeza's SV for a quick ride since working on it. Holy fucking shit, I love that bike. Daddy want an SV!
Oh, and its GP shift too, Ive never ridden GP before, but god damn, I wish I could GP shift my bike.

    That is all.

I love riding other peoples bikes! Most of the time it's temporary fun that reminds you why you chose your bike over theirs. Other times, like in your case, it makes you desperately want their bike and not yours

I know what gp shift is, but what are the benefits over the normal shift pattern?

    For me:
Easier to bang down an upshift for quicker shifts + easier to put a toe down for upshifts leaned over than pull a toe up.

Most of my downshifting is done in a more upright position, which naturally pivots my toe lower - and in better position for a pull up for a down shift.

Places like the bowl, especially on my EX, I would drag toe more often than not trying to get my foot under the lever to bang an upshift.

the question was posed in relation to a street bike, but it'll give you an idea.
