I put all the plastics back on my ST1300 tonight. The old fingers aren't liking even the 43 degree cold...

ST1300 all put back together + 30 minutes shakedown ride. Seems perfect.

Garage in winter mode, I roll the grill out about twice a week, it's never really out of service.

Omg. Heated shop and garage is a game changer. Such a happy place in winter

Agreed on the significance of heat. It's almost impossible to overstate it. I keep the shop at 45 degrees when I'm not out there, but added a wifi thermostat so I can wake up on a Sunday and bump it up from bed and roll out to a warm shop after the coffee is ready.

My garage isn't heated.. But I really wish it had ac. Miami summers are brutal. I actually need to look at insulating the door before summer.

Mine is also AC'd . Although it is a walkout basement in NE, so it really doesn't need it. I use it to control moisture levels a bit. It does get pretty humid in there when we get a lot of rain. As for heat, I let it stay warm 24/7 as it is inder our living space and it keeps our floors warm and living space more evenly heated and doesn't really cost any more. It's mostly bleed off heat from the hot air ducts anyway

I have no clue why its tilted. So in the winter I move all the bikes to one bay so the lady can have a spot. Come april I get the whole two bays.

Motorcycles and where they live-pxl_20210119_134929336-jpg the RS is so small it lives in the Sun room. Whenever I want to work on it I just roll it into the garage which is attached.

Prilla lives on a work table I threw together, works pretty well.

The ST sits on trickle waiting for the occasional warm winter day dad bike romp.

I think the iPhone automatically adjusts for rotated pictures, but maybe the forum software ignores this?

I've never seen that color scheme before. I dig it!

Throw a few cones down, it looks like the RS could lap that room!

sometimes I think of AC for my barn, but only a very few days, my barn is built into the slope, so it stays fairly cool, however I do have to run a dehumidifier, my office is in the barn, and paper gets sticky without it

Re: Motorcycles and where they live

While not as convenient as a thermostat, this old Timberline plate stove heats up my 1000sqft uninsulated garage in about 1.5 hours. If I plan to work in the garage on the weekends, I’ll usually light it Friday evening, fill it before bed and it’s toasty in there the next morning.

Only three bikes now but same deal, shed. No heat, no power except from a portable generator.
