    back on topic, solomotoparts.com has an oil & filter package deal that i've been using for the last 3 years. it's motul oil & a K&N filter. if your oirder is over $99, they ship for free.

    no. i think 3 quarts of reg oil and a filter is $35. i use semi-synth (5100) and need a 4th quart, so my order is around $50.

    Well I wouldn't use Ted. I hear he's a little sticky.
    I prefer the Motul 5100 semi-synth which I love (it's crystal clear), but I am contemplating moving to the 7100 full-synth for the 1098.
    We can get different oils for people, but we only stock Motul.

    OK...i recall something about Full Synthetic not being good for some bikes with WET clutches...anyone ever hear that?

    I remember people saying syth oils were toooooooooo good for engines and didn't allow them to break in properly. I think engines nowadays are much better than the older ones that needed more friction to break in.

    and while we're at it, 300v for me
    it smells like nanners.
