    High Mount Exhaust

Does anyone know if I order a high mount exhaust will I loose my passenger peg to place the exhaust bracket on an 02 r6? All the pictures I see have the peg removed but still have the rear seat on and some have the cowls so I am confused on the matter.

    Re: High Mount Exhaust

it depends on who makes the exhaust. some of them come with relocation brackets or spacers so that you can keep your pass pegs.

    Re: High Mount Exhaust

ive seen R6's with Micron High Mounts that still have passenger pegs. As well as CBR's with Devils that still have them.

if you call Leo Vince or Micron, they'll be able to tell you what you need to buy. its usually easier than searching

Really? I had a Micron on my CBR and loved it. What kind of bad experience did you have with the pipe?

    Re: High Mount Exhaust

ive never been a huge fan of the Micron or Hindle sound. It all comes back to "you get what you pay for" for fit and finish. I had Sato Banzais on my first RC, top notch quality, sound and finish, but $1300 for cans and mids... "you get what you pay for"

I'd go for the LV's. Good sound, nice finish and wont completely break the bank

    Re: High Mount Exhaust

i blew up 3 of them.
1st -chrome. ate itself from the inside out then fell apart. could never get it to seal properly again so it would do it over and over. (3 times before i got a new one)
2nd- also chrome. same thing. VIR. pete was there. it took 1 trackday for it to start coming apart. to the point that i asked if i could run NO muffler
3rd- carbon. 4 laps. thats it. 4 FUCKING LAPS!!! there was a hole in the side of it the size of Iowa!
after that micron would warranty thier pipes for me anymore (not that they were to begin with, i still payed for all of them) since i was "racing with them". IT SAYS FOR "OFF ROAD USE ONLY" RIGHT ON THE FUCKING THING!!! its a stock SV6 for christs sakes. that POS pipe cant hold up to 70HP? how did it work on the Petronas bike? that thing breathed fire!

i also put in 2 races on a MIG before that shit the bed. carbon fibre..hole
