    Nashua Police street racer traps

I was driving in Nashua last night w/ the lil lady and came to a set of lights near the Home Depot off of exit 6. We were heading towards rte 3 north.. I noticed a silver ford focus ZX3 *pimped out* drag a *pimped out* civic from the on coming set of lights. heading towards the lane drop..

I was thinking to myself *squids* the pair take off on the green and no sooner do they leave a Nashua cruiser bags the civic as the Ford continues on its way.

On our way back from dinner I am at the EXACT same set of lights that the focus was at before. What should pull up next to me but a silver focus that is pimped out. Guy looks over smirks.. inches the light. looks over again..Now I am very confident that my Stang will obliterate this focus with out much effort.

I look in the mirrors and what do I see but the front end of a newer crown vic and I can see the silloutte of a spot light near the door mirror in traffic a few cars behind me..

The guy in the focus starts inching and revving his engine to entice me to race.. Not today slick..

I let the focus go he left at the light with *mild aggression* to see if I would take the bait.. as the lane dropped he pulled infront of me and I see this prick on the radio.

So be aware of some shady tactics to catch would be rice boys or racers or whatever.

I think you might be able to squeeze out of that entrapment, but maybe not! Buy a truck, we drive faster than you sportscar guys, but the cops don't even look at us!!

Thats entrapment all right, but I thought not long ago the law was changed so Cops can use other means of tactics.

When I was reading it I thought they just ment for cruisers hiding on the side of the road with the lights out and being able to hide behind anything out of visability, but not actually using bait to get someone to race. Thats total

Oh but they do look at you after midnight.....I got a NY Trooper pal who informed me that just about every pickup on the road after midnight is a probably OUI...so they watch 'em very closely. If you've been bad, take it easy and be careful.

Better yet, let him think you're going to race. Rev the engine, all the theatrics, then idle off the line.....

I actually do this to many ricer kids in town in an attempt to get them to fly off the line, and hopefully get them stopped by the Popo.

I got a road racing ticket 8 years back, and I've decided that I don't need any more, but I'm more than happy to help others get them

Good old Nashua Po-Po. I have been pulled over by them in my car far too many times. Being that I used to be in the street racing crowd in Nashua I have been told some things the Nashua Police supposedly have.

I was told that have a early 90's 5.0 style mustang which they use for street racers and that they also supposedly have a newer civic SI.

Also as anyone who lives in Nashua has probably, they have several under cover Impalas and Luminas.

    Bastards I tell you, Bastards!

werd... that's shady... i didn't get stopped, but it reminds me of a story that happened to me a while back.. i was at a light w/ my buddy while we were in my '87 325 & some kid in an imprezza pulls up next to us w/ two or three cute girls in the car w/ him.. he starts revving his engine, my buddy & i turn & look at him & just laugh... i guess he thought we weren't gonna race him, but the light turned green & i lay a 50 foot patch in my slowmobile... i just accelerate to about 50 then let off.. he's way back but doesn't slow down... i wait for it... wait for it... there it is... the ricer fly-by w/ hazards & all

Lol, i love the fly by. Seems to occur a lot with stangers too. I always tap the brakes after I'm done accelerating just so we are clear I let off.

I dont think its entrapment. In order for it to be entrapment they have to get you to belive what your doing is legal or ok. most people who drive know speeding and racing is not allowed on public roads, if you choose to do it, you do so at your own risk. This explanation made sense to me .I asked A friend who is an attorny about it .

You mean like when you see a police officer do it, and look in approval at you?

I'd be on the cell phone to report that prick in an instant! And I would NOT keep my voice down or be pleasant in any way, shape or form!

Police need to set a good example, I have a young son, I see that shit and I get all bent out of shape!

Yeah, Lord knows Shane already has 8 points on his license and a bench warrant for missing his must appear due to his habitual Wheelie offender court date...
