If thats the case get an R1.
BTW also a great begginer bike!

Neither the owner, myself or 4 of our friends could get that lil-R to one up.. again, it very could have been the altitude/temp playing into it.

Honestly i didnt know that r6's could wheelie, thats why i bought the r1. so i could wheelie through traffic on the highway!
But if you can get the front wheel up good for you.
Do your parents know, are they ok with it?

The Busa is the Harley of sportbikes. If you don't own one, you wish those who did would shut the fuck up about them and ride already.

Please tell me you are kidding. My 03 cbr600rr could power up in 1st no problem, and even in second if I really put some effort into it...with stock gearing. I think you weren't doing it right :poke:

Once you're accustomed to the power of a larger displacement sport bike, most other rides feel anemic at best.

Every brand has a douchecanoe or a crew of them. Even the Busa's have their dumbass' that we hang our heads in shame and walk away from.

12 grand clutch dumps in first huh? ok... three things happen in my experience: 1, you spin 2, you go over backwards 3, you destroy your clutch.
btw unless your at new england dragway "busa's" are overkill for n.e. the only way i'd ride a big bitch like that is if i lived in the desert south west. then i'd rock the zx-14.

A Ninja 250 can exceed every speed limit in the US therefore by your reasoning it would be overkill everywhere in New England as well.

speed limits have zero to do with my comment. my point is i'll take a 2fiddy and ride it faster on my local twisties then i ever could on a big ass 12,13,1400 cc bike. bigger is not always better or faster.

Sorry but I love mean people and the mean things they say.....it makes me chuckle.

i have to admit....i'm not a fan of the busa but i think cat and i have completely different riding styles.
as for personal oppinion on LRS's and stuff, its cool to go fast....but as someone once told me "any asshole can twist a throttle". The only interest i have in people who chase speed records is the mechanics of whatever machine they are riding....thats where the skill comes in, not really the riding.

But your comment makes me wonder why you have a 9R instead of a 6R. Seems to me that you are riding a pretty heafty beast considering what else was available around the same time.
Bikes like the Hayabugly, 12R, and 14 can still go around corners at 2.5 times the limit. So what if they can't go 3 times the limit like a 600 can. There is far more to motorcycling than trying to go around corners as fast as physically possible.

Hell, my 'pimp' Honda 70 can. My CM200T had no issues getting the front end up either :teehee:

My old Honda XL 70 could as well! The back of the seat extended past the center of the rear wheel so by sitting back you could wheelie the thing all day!
