    Trading bikes with a Canadian

I've got a pretty good deal set up to trade my CRF450 and ZX6R trackbike for a Canadian streetbike. I cant cross the border (no passport) so he would have to come to Maine to make the trade. I have a title for the Honda, but nothing at all for the ZX.
I dont really care about paper work for his bike as I intend to make it a track only machine, but - does anyone here know what will be involved in him taking my two bikes back across the border? Neither of us seem to have any idea in what is really involved or what documents would be required.

If anyone has ever done a deal like this I would appreciate any input, thanks!

    Title is the best bet.

The other thing he could do is go thru the boarder station and hope there's no hassle.

Outside of that, I'm not sure.

A Bill of Sale is all he'll need.

How will he register the bikes in Canada?? Although its not your problem.

If he has a Bill of sale for them he will have to pay import tax on the bikes...

all I know is I have a friend that likes to go on useless drives. He drove to Canada from MA. Only to go to a fast food place and tried to cross the boarder again within an hour... He got his car torn apart
