    NH Speeding ticket

What if any effect on my MA license and insurance? I imagine they call and tell 'em I was bad and I thus will pay it for the next 6 years. Anyone know for sure?

    NH Speeding ticket

I got a ticket in CT last month, and called my ins.agent to ask about if it would affect my insurance. I was told now every state is electronically connected to your RMV, so now out of state tickets count the same as getting a ticket right in MA.

Sucks. I'm going to fight it, but it was 85 in a 65 on radar, so I probably don't have much of a shot getting it wiped out.

i would just plead guilty in hope they would reduce the charges to some degree.... worked for me a couple times when I was living in VA....

This must be new because when i moved back To mass from NH they could not surcharge me for a ticket i got in NH.. i just lost my safe driving incentive.. The other option would be, Don't pay it and Don't ever go back to New Hampshire again..

I beleive they have you on that one too. I am not sure but I think you need to be all paid up to renew your license.

    I could be wrong though.

NH will then suspend his driving privileges for not paying the ticket. MA considers any suspension, regardless of the state, as a suspension in MA as well. Driving with a suspended license in MA will get your cornhole seriously worked over.

How about some details on the ticket and when is your court date. Its a ONE shot deal in NH sosome serious planning is in order if you palan to contest it.

    Radar, LIDAR, which is it?

If you have at least 12 days before your court date, I may be able to help.

Not True another state can not suspend your License.. They can opt to put a hold on a renewel, but i have only ever heard of them doing this for an accident.. Something I did once, and you guys may not believe this, and again this was 4-5 years ago so i'm not sure if it still works in NH.. I got a Ticket one time, a friend told me to pay the ticket and Pay $5 over the amount, and they will send me a refund amount for the over payed amount ($5).. So now you tear, shred, throw away, or what ever, but don't cash the check, The ticket will appear on your Lic, but you will not get Surcharged on your Ins. , the Ins. can't surcharge you for the ticket until all debts have been resolved..

    NH Speeding ticket

    Hmmmm:
NH has suspended a license in MA before. I'll have to check the specifics, but after the suspension in NH was "taken care of (PAID), NH sent a reinstatement letter to the MA lic driver.

The problem was the letter never got sent on to the MA DMV, just filed in the guys paperwork....and MA considered him suspended a year later when he was stopped for a traffic infraction. (inspection sticker I think, talk about BIG time)

I think this all has to do with the family or child who was killed at the NH/MA border years ago on a multi DWI suspension in another state. MA and NH entered into some agreement to crack down on cross state infractions......

I received a ticket in VA (radar detector) and never paid it then I went to renew here in MA and they would not let me until the ticket was paid.

I hate Quoting myself... Or As i have researched they can make a request to your licensing state to revoke your Driving ability .. No state but the issueing one has any right to your license.. Remember People who hold CDL's fall under different rules, they are regulated by the Goverment, (DOT) not the state...
