That bike would look like a bag of smashed assholes before I even got to the end of my driveway. Better buy S100 by the 55 gallon drum.

I thought the British were supposed to be a reserved people?

The design looks 10 years old already. Can you say Busa?

Sounds like the aprilia, looks like a Ducati - I like it but they didn't exactly nail the Norton (British) theme they were going for.

Hey, it's got a union jack on the tail!

I wonder what would a "British" modern sportbike look like, that would be distinctive from one from any other country? The Triumph 675 is the only other modern British sportbike I can think of, and it doesn't look particularly British either.

The chrome finish is kind of obnoxious, but that's easy to fix. I think the design is good; it would look nice in BRG. The key, as always, will be in the function -- will it properly kick ass? Good luck to them.

The frame looks very British. Spondon? Tubular with bends not trellis.

The chrome ones will ride into their permanent storage locations in front of the spotlights. Super pretty.
Might see some wealthy folks at the track on carbon ones, though. Good on them.

Norton bought Spondon a few years ago, so yes, it's basically a Spondon design.

The CEO (?) in the video spoke of their desire to produce a British bike that stood apart from Japanese and Italian design.

    Re: Norton V4-RR

THat's tough to do. The closer I look, the more it looks like my Triumph. Frame is very similar, tank as well. The nose says Busa/old R1 and the tail looks more like a 125 from the 90s. Hahaa, designing something fresh and original is NOT easy. Makes you appreciate even more how companies like Ducati can continually set the bar for original designs that stand the test of time.

    Re: Norton V4-RR

Every single time a bike comes out people complain it looks like "this or that." They are all starting to look the same as there's only so much you can do to the form of a sportbike to stand it apart from the crowd.

Personally, I could give zero fucks about anything but the sound, power, and handling and I suspect all of those will be top notch I'll also never be able to afford one....

Hey I'll have a rip-snortin 80 HP RVF motor for sale if anyone wants to pay to play.... but since I doubt anyone in their right mind wants to ante up for it... looks like I'll have 2 race / SBK engines, and a stock engine as my 2017 engine allocation. Just gotta get a couple more built up and I"ll rival a motogp team
