Good news for Britbike fans: the Norton brand, trademarks, and intellectual property (including the bike developed by Kenny Dreer) have been bought by Norton Racing Ltd, and they plan to revive it in the same way Triumph was brought back from the abyss.
Norton Press Release
I want me a new Manx Norton, but I'll be very happy with one of these too:

That would get the job done!
LRRS/CCS Amateur #514 / RSP Racing / Woodcraft / MTAG Pirelli / Dyno Solutions / Tony's Track Days / Sport Bike Track Gear / 434racer / Brunetto T-Shirts / Knox / GMD Computrack
I really like it. Hopefully all the issues they used to have were fixed.
Anyone know what the pricing will be like on the naked?
sweeeeet... I heard rumors about this back a few years ago & first saw that black naked... I think it's fucking beautiful.

I would have sex with that bike and not nice tender loving sex. It would be drunk hair pulling ass slapping throat choking hate fucking. :-) ...sorry.
I want to build a TriTon cafe racer some day. Maybe I'll buy this instead.

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
Yeah, that Commando has been floating around the Internet for a few years now; it was developed by Kenny Dreer's incarnation of Norton, but they couldn't pull together enough investors to put it into production.
From what I've read, Norton Racing Ltd sounds much more likely to be able to pull it off. Time will tell.
