Hoss, the long story was great. You're a good writer.

Hmmm, STN though, I'm surprised you didn't throw in an anti-harley bit. I hear that is required in each and every post over there.

Nice Hoss! As often as I have been there you saw things I havent!

I leave July 14th. I'm leading 7 others on what will be my 6th CST (Canadian Sport Tour!). In good weather the Canadian Maritimes are a wonderful place to ride. Mostly good road, the gendarmes do their jobs with a sense of humor (and tickets in Canada are in 'Canadian' and the points don't count), the people are friendly, the food is wonderful, and the scenery spectacular! (Read Trip reports, Itinerarys, Tour 'Check List' and more on my web site)

Hope our trip is a successful as yours!

    Dave

Nice... I was in NS for the first time a couple of years ago.

I'd love to get back there with the bike.

Thanks, yeah there is a touch of Harley bashing there but I wouldn't say anymore then most "sport/touring" forums. It's just that sheer amount of people over there make it quite the pig pile when something starts.

the people are friendly, the food is wonderful, and the scenery spectacular!

The thing about Nova Scotia we found cool was "the biker wave". Here most people wave, and sometimes you'll get a wave back. Up there, even on divided highways you'll get waves. On side roads you think they are going to tackle you off the bike they are so friendly.

My only complaint was we didn't have enough time up there.
