NYC area riders?

Moving to NYC and was wondering if there is anything similar to NESR (NYSR?)
Or if anyone on NESR is from NYC please let me know.

I did a search and couldn't find the post. Long story short...

- A magazine does an article on a bunch of punks (who refused to identify themsevles) who like to do midnight runs down the freeway at wide open throttle. It was titled "New York's Fastest".
- In the article the punks talk all kinds of shit and make statements to show how fast they are. One of them actually says he's been to Loudon and "beat everybody"
- Someone posts it on this site and it erupted into a whole fiasco.

It actually ended with people from this site posting comments on the online article. The comments led to an argument between NESR members and some who claimed to be from the group being interviewed.

It was pretty damn entertaining. I'll just leave it at that.

The comments area is interesting. I'm afraid my SV isn't good enough to be a part of the New York's Fastest (190mph). It was fun to read through the comments though.
