What are my options for stopping tank-ball-itis

After almost selling my R1 to Half Squid, and then having a dead (new, fuck you Yuasa) battery and no time to diagnose it nix a deal with Sarge, I've actually been riding my bike to work a bit more this season.

The problem is, the stance has my nuts always sliding into my tank. I don't think I've ever actually sat on the back section of my seat. I've been googling around a bit but mostly came up with weird bike-rice shit that I don't want to do. What's the best way to lower the back end of my bike, or more accurately flatten my seat out so that the natural angle of the thing isn't sloped towards my tank?

Edit: I already have a Corbin on it. I'm thinking on having a place take it apart and add a bunch more foam to the front of it or something, but am not sure if that's a shit-tastic idea for one reason or another...

Do you wear leather riding pants? I can't wear jeans because my giant balls get crushed and leathers usually have some padding for the wedding tackle.

    1) Castration.

    2) Different seat

    3) Reshape the seat you have.

    4) Stompgrip

    5) More core body strength

    6) Rubber pants

I would normally suggest #3, as it's the cheapest and you can tailor it to your liking, but I'm not sure how compatible that will be with the Corbin seat cover; they use a particular sort of basketweave textured material, don't they? You'll have to check with the upholsterer whether he can work with the existing material and still get the shape you want, or whether he'll have to replace the cover as well. Do you still have your original seat? Maybe have the upholsterer reshape and re-cover that one, instead of carving up the Corbin?

Duct tape. Transvestites use it to hide their junk all the time. Just tape it in your ass crack and your good to go..

Maybe the problem is not the bike, and you should visit a doctor

I've had every generation R1 and the only ball problems I have had are with my 09...things warm up down there after an hour or so of riding, but it doesn't cause much discomfort

    Squeeze baby, squeeze.

Tech Spec seems to be growing in popularity over stop grip.

You've heard of the stunt dent in the top of the tank...try out the nut dent in the rear of the tank.

Re: What are my options for stopping tank-ball-itis

Tech spec or Stompgrip works well (stompgrip works better but looks worse). I also NEVER wear just boxers or briefs for underwear. When I go for a ride I wear Cannondale padded bike shorts. They provide some padding as well as give my "stuff" support up front so I dont ever experience the issues you are referring to. Check them out.

Aftermarket seats like Sargent and Corbin can put you into a different position.

My stock seat on the hawk tends to bring me into the tank. a Corbin noes not.

Same thing with my 929. Stock into the tank the Corbin keeps me back

maybe some snug underarmor briefs? I know when I wear just boxers and jeans, my bits get the squeeze. But snugger underoos seem to help.

Tank traction pads seem like a good cheap idea too.

When I removed mine, it just left a ton of adhesive junk that I let my paint guy deal with. Tech Spec purports to be reusable, so I imagine they leave no residue at all.

I am Irish dude, my last name is Quigley. Every time I slide my ass back, the first time I tap the brakes I end up right back on the tank. Riding around like I'm using my tank as a thighmaster isn't fun. (Though it's pretty sexy, just ask Josh)
