you going to be around at all this week? the hawk sat all last week while I was on vacation and went to start it today and things aren't looking so good. I pulled the carbs and cleaned some gunk out but It still idling rough and I think the throttle might be stuck.

If you had junk in your bowl check out the pilot jets.



Throw in some dry gas as well.

pulled the carbs apart, filter in the float bowl had gunk, cleaned the jets.... i think it might be the cable or something, I have the idle adjustment turned down to the point where its not touching the throttle body but its still idling a little high and bouncing a little. I'm gonna get it out for a run and try to burn all the gas in the tank and put some fresh gas in, I'll update in a little while.

Choke is stuck somehow. Check the 1 into 2 housing and make sure nothing is pulled out slightly.

ok definitely the choke... something's up with the cable, i'll check that 1 into 2 housing but the choke lever isn't doing a damn thing when it's opened or closed so something separated

ok then the 1-2 was not together... which is now together and she's running fine. You around this evening? I still want to bring her by to show off the new exhaust.
