Painting my bike while riding it

Fun ride thru southern RI and nearby CT, then SPLAT welcome to Wauregan! Rode right through what looked like some white paint in the road and sure enough it was, but was basically a puddle of paint. Nice white splatter under my fairings and under tail. Luckily it was latex and the garden hose, a sponge, and some picking off with my finger nails cleaned up the plastics. A nylon brush under the tail section took care of that, but I have some trick white stripes in my tire sipes that are a bear to get out of my brand new Q2 Dunlops. Also one boot looking pretty speckled, might have to speckle the other boot to match.

Some people do it on purpose and spend $ to do it. Consider yourself lucky that you don't have to go thru all that effort.

Kind of reminds me of the time I drove over a big bottle of lacquer in my SRT-4. I had just put a new exhaust on it with the hangers, and one of the hangers gouged the bottle. The entire underside of my car got a new undercoat job for free, although it smelled like high hell on that hot exhaust.
