Painting Fizzer Rims...Nice.

$5.00 can of high temp clear coat
painting over your old tires knowing your getting new tires mounted....Priceless.

I painted Christines rims on the fizzer they came out really nice for $10.00 way better than the fading white rims she had on before. Best part was not having to mask off the old tires!

The Fizzer is looking pretty damn good for a 1992.

Why the high temp. paint? Did you use priemer? How did 1 can cover both rims?
I painted my zx-6r race bike rims and I used 2 cans priemer, 2 cans of paint, 1.5 cans of clear. What did I do wrong

I used high temp paint for the durability of the actual paint. Plus it's a bonus when sitting in the hot sun that it wont fade peel chip etc... I used a can each no primer as the white powder coat that was on there previously acted as a good primer. I'm not saying they will look pretty for ever but they sure look better than the faded white powder coat.

or paint the tires .take 2 strips of sheet metal 8" x 24" rap them around the rims and sucure with vice grips . then paint away

on paper but it works .....ya might have 2 touch it up around if your changing color . yall need a pix i can give ya 1

Beet it worked out better for use because she needed new tires anyways but your Idea works well!
