    Passenger sliding

One of the biggest complaints that my wife has when we ride is when she slides forward under hard braking or hitting bumps.

I cruised a few firums and came up with somethig pretty cool. It's called a Triboseat. (www.triboseat.com) It's basically made of the same rubbery/sticky stuff that you put under an area rug to stop it sliding on a bare floor. It's custom cut to the size of your specific seat and has a drawstring to get it tight on your seat.

Here's a photo of how it looks after installation:

I think it works out pretty well with the Corbin saddle I have.

You can also have her put her arms under yours and reach through you and press on the tank with her hands especially on steep down hill stops. This will also keep her from slamming your junk into the tank.

Hehe.. that's a Corbin problem.. Guess I could have gotten that stuff for my Corbin, I had the exact same problem.. but it was ME who couldn't stand still.

It was OK for lesiurely riding but forget about it for hard riding.

they sell that stuff at lowes and walmart..if you were going that route i'd try it yourself...

tell her to get used to squeezing the bike with her legs and use her "core" to keep her from moving around...

she will not like that answer(mrs. red wasnt thrilled) but once she got used to it she was fine...also helped with the helmet clanging too...

    let's see...

    $30 vs $200.

I need to get new boots and riding pants, and stands. The seat gets the back burner.

Well, had I read and figured out what the thing was made out of, I probably would've gond to Wal-Mart and gotten a whole roll of the stuff for $5.
