thats crazy!!! but in this country sometime a huge slap in the face with reality is what we need. they should air it here. something as shocking as that commercial might actually make a little difference

I completely agree, I've never been in an accident because of situations like this, but I've come close, and it was the scariest thing that can happen. I think showing cagers that have no idea about motorcycles would help them understand they need to watch for us. We dont have impact beams and airbags and seatbelts to protect us!

I got extremely luck. I was wearing a Shoei RF900, A-star leather jacket and gloves. a minivan pulled out of a side street trying to take a left infront of me and go the opposite direction. she didn't look, and the nose of my bike met the front corner of her van. i went airborne over the hood of her car into the oncoming lane of traffic (luckly no one was coming.) i hit the ground, tucked and rolled a couple time and was back up on my feet and out of the road, before i came to a stop. I turned around and was about to rip this lady a new one, then i saw the 5 little kids she had in the car with her. i just stayed on the side of the road and paced like a caged animal, a very angry caged animal...helmet made some contact with the pavement when i tucked and rolled. i was swollen from the knees down and have some nice scars on my shins to remember it by...My knees hit the tank and i put a dent in each side of it. i have more pics at home i will post...
