Went in to pick up a pair of boots and left with a new bike

Looks like I may have to change my username to 07BladeRider. Took the fam down to Bettencourts to look for boots for my son and a tank bag for Annalisa and ended up signing on a leftover 07 CBR1000RR with 0 miles. No one test drove it, ever.
I pick it up next Friday, since I'll be out of town next week.

    Woo hoo!

    The obligatory squid picture below.

I couldn't pass up the deal. They wanted $1500 less than the original sticker, which brought it under $10k. I've always liked that style of 1000 better than the current one.

Oh, and Annalisa is also excited, because she gets a bump up to my 900RR. We're going to sell her F3.

Awesome bike. I'm only mentioning this because you haven't taken delivery yet,but Naults has the same bike, new leftover at $7999. It has been tempting me for awhile now.

Check the non-current inventory. I have seen them cheaper out at Honda East in Ohio. I was considering flying out, and riding it back. I wouldn't have said anything if you already took delivery.

It says new shipment, just arrived. Doesn't say if it is a leftover or if it's pre-owned.

I have signed contract, but haven't taken possession. Maybe an inquiry is in order.

If you look under leftover inventory you will see it listed.

This bike has to be used. They're selling it below Kelly Blue Book value ($8250) and Nada value ($8225) for USED bikes.

This doesn't compute. Don't rain on my parade.

2010 models are not far away, making the bike 3 years old..... not saying it isnt true, but sales have been slow and bills need to get paid.

That being said, it doesn't mean you didn't get a good deal, just that someone else may get a better one. Dont let it get under your skin.

    True dat.

I just find it funny that I went in for accessories and left with a signed contract. And I had time to think about it, since we bounced back & forth between Bettencourts and Brockton Cycle looking at gear.

???? This is actually the best I have ever been treated at a dealership when purchasing a bike.

No pressure. Good people to talk to and HONEST. We were going to trade Annalisa's bike in and the business manager told us flat out that they wouldn't give us much because of its age. He said we'd be better off selling it.

He also explained EVERYTHING for the contract, which no dealer has ever done.
