    Ahh that’s the new(ish) one - the RC8C

They had a late run of 200, $38k bikes that sold out in 3-4 mins or so

    It’s a low 300lb -ish 135hp LC8 or something?

They had one at 3 brothers racing in Costa Mesa, and it showed up to the Rottweiler bike night

    ah yes, the 2023 RC8C is 313lbs and 135hp, 200 bikes

    the 2022 RC8C (pictured in the auction), is 309lbs, 125hp, 100 bikes

actually, I was this many years old when I also learned that:
    -2008-2010 was an RC8 with 1150cc and 151hp
    -2009-2013 was an RC8R with 1195cc and 173hp

The prices of the recent sales on the 8C’s makes me think they are just being collectors bikes.

Getting there, just dropped it off at the dealer. 2.5 hour round trip drive. They hinted it could take up to 3 weeks to get to it...

Well that blows. Beat that RC like a whore before you sell to one of the poor saps on here in the meantime.

    Think I saw portland mentioned?

Some bar like, Dogfish or something? A side street diagonally across from the theatre is a decent low key bar….

Maybe? They also have a beer garden in Oxford. Looks to be 5 minutes from the place you listed unless I looked at the wrong place.

We ended up getting there just before they closed, they had NO gear, so we had to rip over to Central Maine Powersports 30 min away to get my daughter dirtbike pants and a jersey as well as a chest protector, so we ended up going to a place in Winthrop we have been to many times, Tavern on the Hill 308.

The starter relay is a little prone to failure on those bikes. It's right behind the battery. If you have to thumb the start button a couple times to get the engine to turn, it might be on its way. That's what mine did when it was shitting the bed, anyway. I think the replacement was $70.
