...from the excitement of buying a new bike i figured i'd write the "OMFGASDLFKJAS I bought my first brand new bike/rode my first brand new bike/put my first tank of gas in my brand new bike" thread!!! (jk megz...sorta)

i finally got approved for a loan and bought an 08 FZ6 in cobalt blue! Doug at Billerica Motorsports (Sheppo on here!!) was extremely patient and super helpful with the purchase and I would highly recommend him and BMS for anybody looking to go to a non get-in-your-face-and-pressure-you kind of dealer!

thanks to spicy for piloting me to the dealer so i could ride her home, filling up my tank for the first time, and for taking these pics friday when i brought her home! also thanks to jeff for helping me out with the finances, i owe you big time.

so i guess i'll also include that i rode the new bike up to loudon to the races yesterday too and had a freakin blast! it was great to meet some new NESR folks and see some of the ones i've already met kick ass in the races! gj to you all! and its a good thing i didn't stay over bc i, unfortunately, did have to work this am

Congratulations. Now all you have to do is break out all that crap Yamaha put in the mufflers. They only put that stuff in there for shipping so the outside of the can won't get dented. Clear them out and you should be good to go, your neighbors will thank me later.
