    i was just lookin up some info for this kid i know out in Indiana.... god damn the MSF course is cheap as hell out there.

    in MA, the CHEAPEST place i found was like 240 bucks.... most expensive was like 380.

    in Indiana.... FIFTY BUCKS!!!!!! the ERC was 40!!!!

    gahd damn, folks, wtf?

    It all depends on how the states choose to re-emburse the program.

    Mass chooses to take all the money ear-marked for this program and put it toward paying one of the many Bulger's on the state payroll instead. And the taxpayers can't do shit about it. After all, we really don't know what's better for us. Right, Mr. Finneran?

    In some states, the program is free for riders.

    And try New York for prices - the program on Long Island runs around $365.00 for the same course.

    If you are under 18, the Mass program should be only $100.00. Military can take it for FREE.

    Is it really though? Living on the water, I can't argue with how good it is to be on the coast...but Mass has got to be one of the lamest states I know.

    We paid $300 for my wifes' course. Still, with the abilities and confidence she picked up, it was worth every penny. .
