The two guys in some of the photos are my dad and my little brother. My dad had his 69th birthday last week and my visit and the trip to brands were both surprises.

More pics. Some of you might recognize P. F chili who raced for Corona Suzuki a few years back. I got his autograph on my souvenir program. I spoke to John Rea and Andrew Pitt, too. Got signed pics from those guys. A couple of hours later Pitt hit craig Jones as Craig was crashing and the impact took his life. Put a big downer on the whole thing.

The KTM was absolutely stunning in real life. Very nicely built. Personally I don't like the headlight area or the dashboard, but the tail is just stunning.

...and my bad. The pic with me in it is mid-race.

yeah i dont like the headlights myself..I was wondering how it would look in person since i know pictures are sometimes misleading..other than that it looks like a very nice bike

The pic of the yamaha pits with the red R1 in it has a guys arm with a flame shirt on. As I was taking the pic I was thinking "get out of the way, I'm trying to take a pic of the bike!". After I took the picture, I looked up and it was Troy Corser...LOL.

Diesel works out to $9.61 a US gallon. Petrol just a bit cheaper.

Frankie! He was one of my favorite riders when I first got into watching road racing. I seem to remember a couple of heated confrontations with other riders post-race...Foggy for one.

Frankie Chili was MOBBED! He is one of the most respected and liked of all the riders from over the years. When he showed up, all the team pits emptied and everyone (riders, fans and crews) all came over to see him. They had to call in officials to get him away and he didn't want to leave. Just wanted to sign autographs all day.

...and foggy is a twat. EVERYBODY has had an argument with him, me included.

My high school used to house the Vincent HRD Motorcycle Factory within it's grounds. The school was built in 1558. Here's a couple of pics of the oldest part of the building. I used to take lessons in this building.

They are going to put a statue of Lewis Hamilton close to this spot also. He comes from my home town.
