Nice, keeping the thread alive!
Patiently waiting for my suspension to show up. Just can't decide on what shade of gold for my handlebars.
Think I may try this.....

FYI - ever since this thread started, I've been trying to find a clip from Conan the Barbarian where something incredible happens and he says "Grom!" But no luck so far.
BRAAAAAP!!!
Grom, love
What are the going to call the race series they'll inevitably create at Loudon for the Grom?
No accepting applications:
Formula 125?
WOT 125?
Or my favorite: BRAAAP!!!
I think I may try and make a Race series at the 106 Kart track....don't think LRRS will entertain a Grom class
This is some specs from the CMRA series.
Modifications are limited to exhaust, fuel controller, aftermarket shock and fork drop in kits (tubes must remain stock, no internal engine modifications allowed, aftermarket brake pads and SS lines allowed, gearing changes allowed, tires.
106 Race Park is still alive?! Cool Some of the infield will be a lil tight with the Grom's wheelbase but still a good time. I miss railing that banked oval... If you get something going let me know. Run a 'playbike' class and I'll drag my TTR down.
I have run there and will have to stop in and see how it is on the Grom first...... see if its not to tight for this or its BoxShop. It would be great if we could either use the track or one of the parking lots and change up the track each week but I don't think NHIS really will give two shits and tell us to pound sand
NHIS will work with you, but it's going to cost. I've got the basic numbers for using the track proper and I don't see it being viable to do a stand alone event. I never got pricing for a side lot instead. Talk to Tom B about it.
See what the cost is VS....and probably go from there
Thoughts on a grom as your only street ride?
Only down side is not being able to ride interstate/divided highway, need a 250 for that. I love it. I live in Quincy and I ride in to and all around Boston regularly and it's perfect. I'd imagine it would also be perfect for small town country living. It's quite literally an amazing bike. You can ride it to its limit and never break a law. Go for it.
Also, as you can see, it does amazing burnouts.
Definitely. BRAAAAAP!!!
Cambridge to Quincy in 29 minutes during rush hour. Awesome city bike! Groms don't lane split, just a bit if weaving here and there. Could have been 23 minutes but I had 3 people stop me and ask about the bike.
Couldn't resist. Grom glamour shot.
