    Pit Bull TRS, any experience?

I'm looking for a way to fasten my Tiger into an enclosed trailer. I like the idea of this system but I have some questions. I'm wondering what keeps it from bouncing up and down, the front especially? Also, what keeps the handlebars from moving side to side?

I pretty much only use TRS now, and can only recommend it.

As to bike movement, once locked into the TRS, your bike cannot lean side to side at all. Because the bike is fixed in it's spot left to right by the TRS, your bars will want to pick one orientation and stay there. If that spot isn't centered, once the bike is in, center the bars and then lift on the front tire enough to let it 'find home' and shift ever so slightly. That takes the torque out of the setup and will keep the bars from wanting to move. It'll make sense the first time you do it. As far as bouncing, your bike rides on it's own suspension, the TRS doesn't pull down on it. This is actually good, you'll get less bounce from your trailer as the bike's suspension does it's thing, rather than being locked out by straps and adding it's weight to all the trailer's antics. It's easier on the bike and trailer.

Love this system. Makes loading a bike a breeze in 30 seconds. The front wheel can move left or right, but doesn't matter.

I use this in my toy hauler with two plates. I have even had both a Harley Lowrider and my Grom in there at the same time. Talk about opposite footprint in weight. The best feature of this system is without straps the ease of moving stuff around the bikes if you have to get past. I have heard of trailers flipping and the bikes staying attached to the system. There is no movement once it's in place. The only drawback from this system is the cost of pins if you change bikes as often as I do...

Yeah, the front can bounce around a little, but it doesn't matter... the bike stays put where you left it.

One of the best little investments I've made. Makes me glad I bought it every time I load up the race bike.

My only regret is not doing it sooner.

Even if you later decide to sell it, the depreciation on these things is minimal. Sure your money will be tied up while you own it but in the end of the day its a ~$50 investment (ballpark loss amount if you sell) for a fantastic unit.

I have 3 baseplates and pins for all my bikes.

Excellent! Thank you everyone for the replies. This is definitely the route I'll take. I want to be able to get it pretty close to the trailer wall so I think this will work best.

I have never come across someone who owned one was like “ this thing sucks, should have never bought”

If you go to the track more than 3-4 times a year it’s worth it. Period.

Use the bike to layout how close to the wall you can go with the plate. Also, you can stagger two plates to have one bike more forward to fit two bikes close to each other.

If they made mounts for all my bikes, I would have one for each bike.

Good news! They'll make mounts for any bike. If they don't have your application figured out already they've got a simple process to get there based on measurements you supply.

negative: won't work if you have a short bed space and utilize the tailgate to rest the rear wheel...even "flipped around" I just don't have the bed length to put the mount on a bed and have the wheel resting on the tail gate

I still use ratchet straps and a truck bed for dirty (and a winch to pull in street bikes).

trailer though - all the way - ruff, ruff!
