    Plannin' A Little Bling...

..this winter for the TL-R. Thinking new, BLUE chain; new sprockets (not much bling value); Scott's steering damper; and a new hugger. My wife got me the Extreme Graphic hugger - love her! - and it's awesome. Problem is, they're made for a 190/50 profile, and they're tight. I've been running a 180/55 tire, and for the first 1000 miles or so, the tire rubs. Just tired of hearing it. Need one with a bit of clearance, Clarence. Probably go with SS lines throughout too...

As I said, a little bling...

...tryin' to budget an Ohlins conversion for the rear...

    I dunno
First you shelter them from the rain
Then periodically you hose them with water and harsh chemicals. Forcing corrosive liquids into places that won't dry till next August.
Next thing you'll be telling me you do the same thing to your kids

Hmm, I've thought of getting a gold chain on my bike. Had a hugger but it made chain maintenance a pain so I ditched it.

What's my bike getting for christmas? A new owner!

Aint nuttin rong with a little bling You want bling, skip the 180, think about a 190 again, then put on a phat 200, should give ya more bling and cure the clearence prob at the same time

I'm done with my winter "bling" project already. Little Nitro got a full rebuild and it's lookin pretty pimp.

Not a chance. The TL handled like SHIT with the 190. Still can't understand why they did that...

    Plannin' A Little Bling...

    For the Duc:
CF lower fairings and possibly a CF tail section(depends on how the stocker looks with the CF lowers)
    Gold Chain
New sneakers...I will go back to Dunlops(the Michelins don't inspire much confidence, for me anyway)
    CF fender
    Frame sliders
    Power Commander or...
    Overbore kit?????

    For the Yamaha:
    New paint job...suggestions?????
    New springs(not really bling)
    New rear shock

There maybe more as I get into these winter projects....

    Didn't know that.
But, to me, yellow is old school Yamaha.
