    Polaris & Zero deal

Polaris and Zero announced a deal this week with Zero providing drive trains for Polaris ATVs and snowmobiles, but not motorcycles (yet). So this won't immediately lead to an Indian version of Livewire. Polaris already owns Brammo, Goupil, which makes light-duty on-road vehicles, and Gem, a French company that makes street legal passenger and utility vehicles.

It will be interesting to watch the Polaris product line over the next 5-10 years.

Just picked up a Polaris Ranger EV seems just as capable as a gas model except for it's range.Polaris & Zero deal-img_6967-jpg

I didn't realize they already had EVs. Mind if I ask what the range is?

If I were to get into dirtbiking or other off-road powersports at this point I would strongly consider electric. Having the ability to go where I want without potentially disturbing (or even alerting) anyone with noise would be huge.

What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.

If they would've just put decent cans on the things 20 years ago things would be different..

Worked in Engineering at Zero for ~4 years. This will be huge. Zero has been struggling for a decade and I think this is the lifeline they've been waiting for.
