most "popular" motorcycle on earth?

..........got a conversation with a co worker, for some "bizzare" reason he has an affinity for the ROYAL ENFIELD bikes...anyway he stated thet they are the most popular motorcycle on earth......does anyone know what motorcycle holds that title?....i would be surprised if the RE is.....altho im sure there are a lot of those bikes in 3rd world countries.....whats are the actual stats on that?....i havent been able to find out yet....

India has a fuck load of riders... all on Enfields... I mean, we can't even imagine how many people ride there. If your bike breaks down, literally ANY kid has the skills to fix major mechanical probs... It's a different world out there.

As for the Bike. Honda ownes that one. Not sure the model but it may be the Honda super cub.

There have been over 50 million Honda Super Cubs produced, it is still going strong. This is for c50/c100 models.

I am pretty sure that another Honda wins for non, step through bikes. Another small one too. In places like Indonesia and Vietnam have big populations and the economy to afford normal people bikes Honda has dominated for some time via the super cub.



The cub is the winner for sure on powered two wheelers.

I'm not sure if it's the world's most popular, but when I was in India the "hero honda" (and yes, all my relatives say it in that order) was fairly common
