If using the woods (stock) map, it’s probably on par with your 500. It goes in to beast mode when using the full power/MX map.
If you’re ever down in the RI area and want to rip some typical rooted, rocky, slick single track trails, let me know, you’re more than welcome

Maybe up front. But I can toss these in a car, can put them in my apartment, can ride them from my door, and not risk getting arrested (for the most part).
I won't say these are any better for fitness. Ripping moto is a killer workout. I definitely miss it.
The first two mtb and the 3 S-works are close or at the top of the line. Compared to top of the line dirtbikes, these are cheaper up front.
The other 2 bikes were "cheap". The grey/red is alluminum and probably $5k all-in brand new, without deals/discounts. The fixie was $900 brand new from specialized and is useless in SF with the hills.
I wouldn't be surprised if maintenance costs are pretty equal between these and dirtbikes...

Holy shit Jetta...that's a nice collection.
Do you race the S-works road bikes?
I used to. I "retired" when I moved to SF in 2019, but occassionally will race a local criterium if its close enough and I have at least a little form. Or if I'm back in New England and there is a race, I'll go do it with my friends.
Been mostly doing endurance mountain bike races and gravel, if anything. I'll probably do some cyclocross again this season as my friends here are getting a bit into it.
Its all about fun these days, and crits are fun.
