This is my new (to me) 2000 Honda Shadow Sabre VT1100C2. I purchased it in pretty much stock form except for the pipes and some Saddlemen saddlebags back at the end of June. Since then, I've put on most of the Blue Collar Bobbers kit and I'm really loving the cruiser life so far. I wish I had done this sooner...

Added another one to the stable: YZ450F supermoto. Guess I’m headed to the kart track more often this year!
Total impulse buy from a friend. He went through the motor, completely redid the suspension, rode it once and decided he needed a down payment for a new street triple.

yikes...the '03-'04 were the earliest years of the 450F and regarded as "too powerful" for their own good on the MX tracks. It wasn't until the later years that the power tune evened out to be more controllable. So it should be two colossal gobs of fun at Adams/Apex/Grange/etc.
remember not to look for 5th gear
and man those WR250's really hold their value. Some people sell the 2-3 year old models for more than new, and the only ones in the $5k range (MSRP of $6,600?) have 15-25k miles and are 8-10 years old. That was a good value buy

This is the first time I've bought a bike knowing little to nothing about it so sounds like it's perfect for the kind of fun I'm looking for!
As for the WR250R -- the values are insane! I've been so tempted to sell but then again I got this bike dialed in so well I'd probably regret getting rid of it, not to mention it gives me zero issues with virtually no maintenance. The 450 should give a more competitive edge on the kart track though, which the 250 was certainly lacking (but still fun to hoon around on)
I'm forgetting how to post pix here for christ sakes!
Yer welcome, Bill [smiley] glad the bags work on at least one of your bikes [thumbsup]
Last year I sold my three bigger bikes leaving me with two smaller bikes, a '96 DR350SE (air-cooled! six-speed!) and a 2006 Ninja 250 (lotsa fun). The new mid-sized bike should arrive later his week, will post pics when it does.
