Hondas with high mileage

I know theres already a few threads for bikes with high mileage. Just curious to see what the mileage is for Hondas that people have Logged. Anyone hit over 80,000 with regular maintance?

There are tons and tons of 100,000+ mile VFRs, Gold Wings, and STs.

I'm not as sure about CBRs since they often get replaced each time a new model comes out but I'm sure there are some of those with monster mileage too.

There is a guy on www.cbr600rr.com with an F4i with well over 100k. Believe his name was Phil. Most I have even physically seen on one is 60k

I have heard rumors there is a guy with a cbr f2 or f3 that has on the order of 175k and his name is also randyo but he is not me

there are a lot of harleys with over 100k also

do you think its because,1) lotsa folks mac em up before they reach that mileage,2) dont maintain,3) bike wont last.

I think it's because the majority of sportbikes are wrecked before they can see that mileage.

One of the guys from Sportrider magazine did an article years ago on his personal CBR900RR with over 100K on it.

If you take care of them, they will last.

And there are plenty of Wings with over 500K on them. Original clutches, motor never opened up.

Most people quit the sport before they get anywhere near 100K. It's not the bikes that won't do it, it's the riders.
