Power Commander aint working shit the bed POS

6500 rpms it runs lean
i unhooked it & the bike runs good
i e-mailed dynojet
i wish i knew what i was doing with the POS
i'm not buying a new 1 .
fucking starting out 2 b a good year
i need tires 2 & $ is tight after the IRS caught me
WTF can any of you tech guys help me out .
i know nothing about mapping or any of this shit

Ok first did you load a map for your bike on it or did you just hook it up and go? I can see how it would screw up just about everything out of the box especially if you just ordered the PC with no map on it.

Lets get a little history for me at least.

What are you riding and what have you done for mods? Typically the PC map is set to what mods you have done if any. Some bikes have more maps then others.

Loading a new map will be no big deal. We just have to find you the proper map. If youre close to Foxboro and dont have the USB model ill gladly help you out providing my laptop lives past tonight.

no i did not try 2 load a new map i'm not at all geeky
it's not new . i took the bike out on sat. .I put new plugs in & a new battery . the bike ran the best it ever did till 6500 rpms then it would lean out & lose power .so i took it home & dqed the PC &
the bike runs fine except the stumbles my tls is known for .
i dont have the cd 2 remap it so thats my story ................

How old is your bike?

I bet the PC has an internal watch battery or something to keep it from losing it's cookies and it's burned out so the thing lost it's map when you disconnected the main battery...

Though it should be in some kind of memory that does not require power as the PC usually gets no power unless the ignition is on AFAIK.

it prob reset itself to a "zero" map that would explain all the stuff your getting. find someone with a cd and laptop , remap it and go. easy as 1 2 3
