Seriously though, I had a frikkin blast at a wet track day mid-year on my Diablo Supercorsas which are notoriously bad in the rain... For t2 especially, you need to get the bike pointed down the back straight, get to neutral throttle and go almost limp on the bars, all as early as possible... ie, before the apex. And stay a little bit aways from the curbing. It's slick within about 2 feet of the curbing.

I rode to work yesterday and got rained on without my lower gear. Fell asleep by 7:30 after warming up. Nice ride in today with warm pants on and no rain. Winter in the NE sucks riding home in the dark cold doesn't turn me on.

No surprise just lucky breaks needed in the weather. I pick the nice days this time of year for a bike commute. Lived in Jackson Hole Wyoming for a bit where it really gets cold. Only rode through the snow on a dirt bike one winter when the truck got banged up. Do you have alternate transportation?
