    Psycho squirrels...

Anybody else noticing an overabundance of psycho squirrels on the loose? Must have been one hell of a mating season huh?

Seems you can't go 100 ft without one running out in front...even on the damn exit ramps on the highway!

    Psycho squirrels...

Just 2 days ago I was merging onto 128N and a squirrel bolted out from the median and ran right in front of me. I heard a quick "thump thump" and it was all over. Kawasaki 1 - Squirrel 0.

About those squirrels, I went out for a ride on Monday and 10 minutes in to it, I ran over a confused chipmunk. One hour later a confused squirrel dove under my tires. I headed home cause I figured a raccoon was next!

There is 1 twelve in Ipswich! Your screen name looks familiar... Do you post on ZX-12R.ORG? I go by KZ1100 over there!

Anyhoo, I am always game for a ride. The next couple of weekends might be tough but I can usually be found out and about every night. I work in Lowell so I'm not too far away from you there either. I have been looking for riders in the area as I am not too familiar with the best roads that would compliment the 12's capabilities!

PM me and we can set something up!

    Speaking of psycho squirrels...

What about those jackass drivers who slam on their brakes in front of you because of a Squirrel..

    THEY ARE RATS.

THEY ARE RATS WITH BUSHY TAILS.

People in China dye the fur and then sell it back to idiots over here as fox, sable or mink for $10K.

    THEY ARE RATS.

THEY WILL NOT HURT YOUR CAR...

    JUST HIT THEM DAMNIT..

Not like I had a jackass in a SAAB do this early today on the way to work or anythink like that...

they won't hurt your car? i dunno bout that... my buddy hit one on the highway couple weeks ago... it tore the front lip off his car, which he then ran over & had to pull to the side of the highway, pick it up & throw it in the back... suprisingly it was still in one piece (the lip, not the squirrel)

    Psycho squirrels...

I grazed a possum the other night in Derry, NH. Heading southwest on Griffin Rd., about 9:45 pm, heading towards Hudson. I had a very cute passenger with me riding on the back I might add. Unfortunately, her increased weight on the bike reduced my maneuverability slightly and instead of missing this determined possum completely (as I would have by myself) I grazed his snout and he got swiped by either my kickstand or center stand in the passing.

My passenger is a veterinarian, so that forced us to stop, go back and check on the animal. We turned around and found it kind of shaken and standing in the same spot where we collided. It was a little dizzy as it started hobbling away into the overgrowth on the side of the road. There was a oreo cookie size puddle of blood on the ground where it was laying, but it took off on it's own. Whether is survived or not is anybody's guess.

Either way, that was the fastest and eager possum I ever saw. Wrong place, wrong time. I'll put it this way, if the slow ass blue hair in the cage in front of me knew where the gas pedal was, I'd have been long past that particular stretch of road before the possum even had an idea to cross the road.

    Psycho squirrels...

...now to get to my post that actually was supposed to go here.

Yesterday on the way to the gym, squirrel comes bolting outta nowhere, under the truck in front of me....get's half squashed but still very lively in it's death dance.

So now it's my turn to avoid this gray, mini-Tasmanian devil. It wasn't happening because of course, one leg is still working at a million miles per hour and the thing managed to go under me right between my front and back wheel. I finished it off with my back wheel. I'm glad I wasn't taking a corner in that situation.

    Psycho squirrels...

I started playing Squirrel Soccer or Squirrel Polo on my Cruiser. Thee are a ton of these phuckers running around where I live and always trying to bag a bike... so the jist is when they ate trying to take out your front tire, drop the foot and kick them... I maybe connect 20% of the time (3 successful out of maybe 15 or more attempts)

    A) It is sort of fun

    B) It is probably kinder than running over the phuckers head.

    C) Some squirrel is going to be the king of the clan that time when I catch my toe, have my leg pulled and me off the bike and the phucker runs up and stands on the downed game.

I swear these are kamikazes trying to brag about taking out a biker...
