Remember Mornings like this where it's 50* and B E A U T I F U L out, those freshly painted crosswalks and street lines are dewy and slippery !!! A little slide is one thing, a high side is another. Be safe out there !!!

On a more serious note, I'm curious why they don't put sand in the paint before spraying it down. Seems like more traction on the road can't ever hurt.

the MMA is working at trying to get towns/cities to do this. sand in paint = new equipment and costs.

80 year old ladies have lived a good life, make her move! On another note, my town Westford is aggressively ticketing crosswalk violations. So becarefull especially around Kimballs and any other high pedestrian volume area.

yea morning on and off ramps start be become a little slower from here on our especially now my front tires (AVON) Radicalaly new technology is now coming into play and creating more and more sipes as the tire ages.

are they Storm 3Ds or one of the Sport 3Ds I think they make 4 different 3D tires?

one thing I've learned above all with my Darkside experiment is that sipes make a big difference when road surface is less than perfect

As a street tire, I've always been partial to Avon tires due to the variable belt density construction. do they still have the bell shaped profile ?
