    Group Purchase - BIKES

Along with my new R1, I also have a couple of friends looking to pick up bikes over this winter. So far I've got 2 others who are firm commitments (ready to leave cash deposits) and possibly up to 4 more who are in process of deciding and or checking on financing. I talked to my dealership (It's in PA... (300 miles from Boston) but worth the trip.. the prices are ALREADY great, the dealership itself is GREAT, the ROADS around there are even better!) and they are willing to work out a fantastic deal on 3 bikes purchased together. I've already got 3 or even MORE bikes to buy from there (the more we buy the better the deal) but I thought I would extend the offer to anyone here to get in on this if you want to. The dealership has Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki.

To give you an idea of what I mean by DEAL..... at the beginning of the season they had a 2001 R1 on the floor (MSRP 10,299) tagged at $9600... When I was there this weekend.... the 2001 R1 was tagged $8900. This is the REGULAR PRICE folks... I am talking about a group buy discount from their already great prices.

e-mail me off list if interested for details.

Hmmmm.....Cheryl is somehow convinced that I'll be getting a stable mate for the Tiller this winter. Which is absolutely KEWL 'cuz I never made such a claim!!! I planned on just dumping a bunch of cash into the Tiller...

I will admit that the idea of a sport bike that is comfy for two AND now available with 'factory' hard luggage is piqueing my interests though...

    A) I wonder if they have any '02 VFR's in yet...

    B) I wonder what they're asking for them...

    C) I wonder what they'd do in this "Group Buy" situation...

    D) HINT, HINT...
