    How wide does a trailer need to be to comfortably fit 2 bikes???

    two can fit in the bed of a truck ok....but trailer width comfortably i'd probably say 8 feet

    4' is wide enough for 2 sport bikes but the mounting points need to be further apart

    4x8 seems to be more than enough but you need to be sure you can get mounting points on there. I know two guys who put their bikes on 4x8 trailer with one of them on a make shift rear stand and another on a make shift pitbull rear stand assembly. Worked great.

    I've put two bikes on a 4x8 , but I wouldn't say it was comfortable.

    I would say 6x12 is comfortable without being too big.

    4x8 is fine

    just watch out for sharp turns with 2 bikes loaded, the center of gravity is pretty high for the width.
