I found that if you put hot air in your tires they stick better in the rain.
What kind of mud flaps work best on bikes in the rain? I like the Yosemity Sam ones, but someone told me the Keep on Truckin' ones work better
It's pretty convenient that JC Whitney sells them in packs of two...
If I can keep out of traffic, I can stay dry, I find that I get soaked rather quickly when there is a lot of traffic and a lot of water being kicked UP
when I did my SS1000, about 700 miles was in rain

If i ride my sport bike, my legs get a little wet. If i'm on my moped i get much wetter especially when trucks pass me. As far as mudflaps go, I like the ones with the naked lady profile on them. Hope this helps in your search for the answer to your question.
