*Fuel. Why do you want to? If it's stock and not tuned for the higher-octane fuel, the bike's performance won't necessarily increase.

    Re: Race fule

You can absolutely put whatever you want in there.

If you're racing with LRRS and want to pass a fuel test, your options are limited to the following:
Sunoco 93 Premium pump fuel (10% Ethanol)
    Sunoco Supreme (112 Octane, Leaded)
    Sunoco Standard (110 Octane, Leaded)
    Sunoco Optima (95 Octane, Unleaded)
Sunoco 260 GTX (98 Octane, Unleaded)
Sunoco 260 GT (100 octane, Unleaded, 10% Ethanol)

Details here: Compare Fuels - Sunoco Race Fuels

First thing to note: None of these fuels have the traditional big power adder oxygenators you're hoping for like say, VP U4 of old. At most they claim ethanol as an oxygenator... blech. Your motor is tuned to run on 87 octane weasel squeezings out of the crate. If you leave it stock and put Sunoco Supreme in it, you'll be making less horsepower than running boring Sunoco pump 93. The Optima is interesting 'cause the octane isn't crazy plus no ethanol, but you'll be paying nearly $10 a gallon for that privilege.

Now, if you've built that EX's motor such that it needs higher octanes, open your wallet and have at it!

Not worth it unless the bike is tuned/jetted properly.

I would say that 90% of us all run 93 octane at the track

Yea unless you tune/build it for any specific fuel, which I don't think a lot of the ex guys do (might be wrong) you won't see any notable performance increase.

    Re: Race fule

I swear someone was running old school legit race gas last weekend, a few times I caught a whiff of stuff that both smelled amazing and tried to knock me out at the same time.

It'll make your bike spend your money faster, and that's about it.
