Wow. Why don't you go move elsewhere if you hate it so much. A lot of people come here because they want to, for whatever reason. Work, family, scenic, ocean and mountains withing a couple hours of each other.

FWIW, I was born in a mill town (a real one, not Manchester), and stayed in NH cause I love it here, not because I had to. I could have lived anywhere, but I chose to stay. We all have choices.

Listen closely. These places I'm considering. They were built near where I'm looking to work. A milling company. The people that live there will soon be my neighbors. I'm coming here for work. Nothing more. I'm not looking for anything scenic or pretty. I actually love people suffering. Smog. Feces. Dead Hookers.

I am young. Once I establish myself as an asset to the company, I'll grab a map of the USA. Dream of very nice places. Take my finger and point out where I WANT to live. I'm going for it. There are 10 racetracks within 7 hours of Chicago, so I'm obviously not moving to NH to ride at Loudon all year (no offense). I have such a nice life. And I love sentence fragments, too. It's so dramatic. Nerf balls. Dingo babies.

I love milltowns, grew up in one, Wallingford CT, yeah, sad in a lot of ways, and when I drive by the old Wallace Silversmiths where my father worked 40 years, and where my mother was the factory nurse at Chandler-Evans, and the steel mill where my brother worked, well, it's hard to breath, and I'm not talking about smog. But a lot of the mills have new life as apartments and offices. Factories in the borough (center), dairy farms and orchards in the town (outlying). I read that one of the old orchards is now a vineyard an winery. New life.

Speaking of milltowns, check this out:

It's exactly like living on your own private Hawaiian island packed with gorgeous nekkid women, but different. Honest.

I like him. After assimilation and he buys us all booze, can we keep him? I think he'll fit in with the paddock crowd.
I propose Keira as his training officer and rider rep.. :-)

He had me at dead hookers.

I don't rep riders on purpose. The LDR guys have been giving me shit about wearing my ECK t-shirt around them. He who pays (or gives me free schwag) gets repped. Booze helps.

If you have time when you're here take a ride to the ocean. East on Rt 101, then East on Rt 111 till you get wet, then turn North (to Portsmouth if you have time).

If smog and feces is what you're after, then set me up with said deep dish pizza's in a small room with you and you'll be satisfied.

It's winter time, you are actually providing a welcome focus for a forum that is usually full of drama this time of year. For that we thank you.

Manchester is a small city. Nashua is a big town. Derry is a collection of houses and a grocery store.
