Racer guys/girls- have a ???

My race bike is 90% done-
One thing I do need is a seat, or just foam to make a seat and glue it on.
Where do you find this said material? I went to an auto parts store and they looked at me like I had 4 heads.
any suggestions??

it's a little bit of everything
basically a modified ex500.
honda f2 front end- yami fzr swingarm.
honda wheels.

You can get the foam seats from hotbodies. And I think street and comp has them also.

I used 3M spray adhesive and work-mat material that I just cut to fit.

But, why bother? Just duct-tape the screw heads and boogie!

lol- I guess that would work. Duct tape, zip ties, and Wd-40- I swear they will fix anything.

Try it with no seat. I've ridden a couple of race bikes where I sat directly on the fiberglass. It's not like you're on the seat that much anyhow.

You can get the foam at the track. Street and Comp sell it at their booth.

i'll see how much street and comp charges for seat foam and then make up my mind. Might just go with the duct tape for the first couple of times out on it.

I think it's somewhere around $20. they give you a chunk and you cut what you need. The pad from hotbodies is a lot more. I would assume you could get some comprable material at home depot or something.

pfft, don't laugh, that's not a bad idea... get some spray adhesive & find something in the gardening section (those things people kneel down on) or something like that... anything foam will do & at wallmart i'm sure you could find both for like 10 bucks

Mcmaster carr has foam rubber relatively stiff nitrile stuff.

Vinyl from fabric stores

pull and staple the middles

make sure its warm...
pull and staple like a torque pattern
