can anyone tell me why? waht happened to the bike?

Looks like old Pere-Francesco (sp?) got his front forks bouncing (setup problem?) under braking and didn't manage to get it settled before he turned into the corner. Only way to save that would have been to go straight into the gravel on the outside of the corner and try to ride it out without dropping it.

...and by the way, I was in the stand that you can see in the last few frames behind Chili as he slides on the grass.

Ya...and what'd we get from ya? One freekin' picture. I was hoping to see lots of pix.

In regards to the video, it appears that his front tire is locked up, along with the front end bounce. All the time the bike is on it's side, the front brake rotor never appears to turn. I would think with all the speed he had going into the crash, there would have been some momentum to keep the tire rotating. Maybe a mechanical problem, or maybe he locked the front brakes himself ??

degs told u why.. as for what happened to the bike... the bike went down and slid across the pavement..

i meant the fork or suspension which also was explained.

Looks to me as though, Under braking, the forks bottomed out and started a bounce , which lead to him giving more brake....and inevidably...well..the video says it all from there.
