Radar Detectors?

All of the high end detectors will pick up radar well over a mile behind them. The V1 performs a little better in this field because it is the only one that has an extra rear facing antenna. That is also part of the reason why the V1 is $100 more than the Escort.

I haven't had the chance to play with the new high end Bel detector but experience from past models would suggest that it will hold its own against the V1 and the Escort.

I've always been a BEL detector guy I have a BEL in all my vechicals(4)
But that Solo S2 screen matches my bike's dash. Well time will tell on which one I eventually go with.

it's an led tied into the radar. it blinks a red light when it goes off.

some times i move around too much on the bike in the corners and end up unpluging the speaker wirer running to the detector.

the gps is a v. i'd rather be running the 176 but there isn't enough space. i currently run the v on all the bikes and the 176 on the sleds.

as to what else, how about front and rear video.

iv'e still got a bell in one of the trucks.
