Raising a 06r1 back to stock after being lowered

How difficult is it to Raise a 2006 r1 back to stock height? I bought a 2006 R1 with only 3K on the od and the guy who had it before me had the bike pretty low. It has effected some of the performance compared to my 04 that was not lowered. I have a feeling the difference I feel is because the bike is lowered.

    any help would be appreciated

If it's not an adjustable lowering link.. then you just need to buy a stock one... lift up the tail end, support the swing arm and replace it, max 3 bolts, maybe only 2

I just did an ebay search, and there is either the suspension triangle which is 3 bolts, or a simple link, which is 2 bolts.

I will have to check out which type I have I guess. I am clueless when it comes to bike maintenance I have never owned the same bike long enough to even get an oil change. 3 stolen all R1's and others traded away for other toys.

You want the links. Get stock length, maybe ebay or put an ad in our wanted area.

And lock your freakin bikes up man...

Running a xx14 on it all the time now. In the long run it worked out ins wise, but now that I have my perfect (almost) bike I would die if this one got stolen

One was stolen right infront of the Tstation near the garden and construction mid work day. Other was taken from Somerville in front of the house.
