    5°F/-23°C when I left at 6:30am this morning, electrics kept me toasty warm, Avon Distanzias do not warm up on cold pavement as good as Pirelli MTR60s my Arai face shield frosts on the inside, I hade to open it and scrape the inside a few times.

    I stopped at RMS on the way home, tried on a few snowmobile helmets, or I found out, HJC breath deflectors and face shields are pretty much interchangable between their snowmobile helmets and motorcycle helmets. . so for about $35 I can get a double pane face shield or $80 I can get and electric heated shield for my HJC Symax. I tried on a Fulmer modular snowmobile helmet that fit me a bit better than my Symax, only cost $180

    I hit 89k on my SV today

    I forgot... I saw one other bike today, a cruiser going the other way on 293 in Manchester when I was on my way home about 2:00pm, rider was all bundled up, no helmet
