Chance is the rider wearing a black leather jacket, in the viral video of the Sept. 29 chase, who violently smashes the driver’s window with his helmet, the criminal complaint alleges.

Chance is a married father of six who has been unemployed since a 2011 layoff from a food-service company.

    This is rich.

"We concede the criminal mischief. It's obvious he overreacted, but the law does permit someone who is victim of an accident to attempt to get the identification of the motorist, and my client obviously overreacted in that manner," said Chance's attorney, Gregory Watts.

    Gloria, meet your new client.

Edwin Mieses, 32, never got a driver’s license in the Bay State, the Registry of Motor Vehicles said, but he was frequently nabbed behind the wheel, and even sentenced to jail for driving without a license, court records show.

Mieses has a pending case out of Lawrence District Court for driving suspended, subsequent offense, said Carrie Kimball Monihan, spokeswoman for the Essex County District Attorney’s Office. Mieses also has 15 guilty findings for criminal offenses including distribution of cocaine, possession of a firearm without a permit, knowingly receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and several motor vehicle violations, court records show.

Mieses was sentenced to jail in 2004 for distribution of cocaine, in 2001 for operating without a license, in 2000 for possession of a firearm, and in 1999 for possession of marijuana, receiving stolen property, destruction of property and attaching plates, according to court records.

I wonder how the hell he is funding his lifestyle. Would he be wrong to assume that part of his funding came/ or comes from unemployment and part is funded by questionable economic activity?

I hope that the legal system gets to the bottom of the activities and real intent of these individuals and makes a statement that what happened has noting to do with motorcycling.

I hope that that motorcycling communities makes a statement that says something strong (yet right) about the sort of crap that these stupid jackasses do during their group rides.....I mean gang conference.

Up to 6 off duty cops were part of this.

I'm guessing none of them get fired.

An internal investigation will be launched and then shorly come to the conclusion that no disciplinary action will be taken. The same as when they shoot people, pets, drive drunk, hit motorcycles, conduct warrantless searches etc etc etc.

He didn't brake check the SUV, no brake light on as was pointed out. But he was off the throttle. SUV and others around him maintained pace. He slowed.

Why would you pull in front of a 4000+ pound vehicle and let off the throttle?

The rider most certainly hits the brake and it appears (to me) that only the right half of his aftermarket tail light is functioning properly.

Re: Range Rover runs over biker(s)

Some guy donated 5 bucks and wrote this on that FundMe site. LOL

I don't feel bad for you one bit you pile of crap. You and your biker punks should learn not to mess with innocent people. You got what you had coming and hopefully a few more of you sorry wanna be bike gang members will eventually get hurt the same or worse. You should not be able to walk your kid down the isle since you and your bitch friends tried to make it so an innocent man could not do the same for his kid. Your kid is the innocent one here not you or your wife. She knew she married a "hard ass biker member" who knows what kind of punk you are. Somehow I feel as if this is not your only run in with trouble. I hope you cant do a thing the rest of your life and If there was a fund for the driver of the truck I would donate 5 hundred to him. Enjoy your hospital stay you non walking excuse of a man. Absolutely worth the dollar to tell you and your family, along with the others exactly how most people feel. Take my dollar and buy a Hershey's bar with it. Wait you cant eat it so I hope your wife wipes your ass with it and throws it away.

    Classic

Re: Range Rover runs over biker(s)

Here's a good one from that same page:

I am sorry you and your family have to experience such pain and heartache, and I hope you come out of this with the ability to live a somewhat normal and happy and fulfilling life but your medical bills should be paid solely by the mob of bikers who you were riding with that day. If they feel such a need to act on behalf of another member of their "crew" it should not be limited to inflicting pain and fear upon other citizens. They need to take responsibility for the actions of their aggressive mob mentality. The reason you were injured is a result of your friends trying to create a conflict when no conflict was necessary. I wish you a speedy recovery and as much joy and good health as you can possibly experience in your lifetime but I personally feel that the fact of your motorcycle crew is more than willing to assault an alleged "antagonist" in front of his wife and infant child yet won't fully fund your rehabilitation which is a direct result of their aggression is appalling.

I bet he kept the tag attached so that he can return it. Changing clothes doesn't change the fact that you have a thug face.

I stand corrected. Teach me to listen to what was said instead of making it full screen and watching. Right about the time he insists he never hit the brake in front of the RR, you can in fact see the brake light come on, then go out seconds before he gets bumped.

I wonder if the piece that aired on the news was clearer than the clip in the link above. Either way, he's blatantly lying on national news. Again, I'm sure pinstripes next to him told him to say that.

Anyone get an email from AMA today.?

As you know, the AMA has long advocated responsible riding. AMA members strive to represent motorcycling in a positive light. AMA clubs do the same, supporting rider education and raising funds for charitable causes in their communities. Each year, hundreds of well-organized, AMA-sanctioned recreational events occur where law-abiding motorcyclists gather to enjoy camaraderie and spend their tourist dollars in host cities and surrounding communities.

One unfortunate event of this kind, reported frequently by national and local media, can create a false image of all motorcyclists by the general public.

The safety of all road users, especially motorcyclists, is of the utmost concern to the AMA and we do not support actions by any road users that violate the law. The AMA is telling the media our position about responsible riding and urging them to report this incident factually and objectively

Nice hard nosed journalism there. Why are we afraid to ask difficult questions of disgusting people? From this dirtbag to every politician that dinks his secretary or taps the toes of his stallmate. Where are the hard questions? What could be less compelling than a soft shoed interview? Who are we afraid to insult?? Where is the interview with the RR family?
