RD 400/RZ 350's

I'm thinking of adding one to my garage call it sentimental purchase. I had a 74 Rd for my first street bike in 77 or so and I would love another one of them. I think the 400 or RZ would be cool too. It's similar to a thread already percolating on the forum I know and I have been following it closely to see what crops up. I could spend maybe 5 grand or so to start the process.

I have an RD400 that I love, it's light, quick and simple.

Agree I'm hoping to find a good one in the next 6 months or so.
I'm in no hurry and if the right one pops up it could be any of the 3 models.

I found my RD after looking off and on for about a 5 year period. I finally pulled the trigger on my current 1975 RD 350.

I had my first RD 350 back in 1978. It was a 1973. Since that first RD, I've had 10 other bikes(+/-) even a RD 400 was in the mix. But those RD 350's are in a class all by themselves. They are so much fun to run.

I have several other bikes now and my RD gets it fair shre of time on the road.

Just started restoring my RZ and also building a hydrid version at the same time using my pile of spare parts!
Hope to have one of them on the road next season.....

needs 2 $3 jets? The bike looks nice...but... if its not running perfect...be cautious. If you do your own work, no issues... I love it... swap some modern wheels on it with better brakes, nice! great deal...

+1 on this. This is sketchy - you do all this work and don't jet it properly? I would be very cautious, this bike may have been damaged by improper jetting. Something is not right here.

If you buy it, bring it down to the shop and ill go over it all, tune it to perfection.... its winter... we will give you the winter rate LOL..
