    Rear seat removal??

It should be similar to the 06' so take your key and on the left side there should be a key hole - put the key in, turn and lift up seat. Should work

    good luck!

    also, check this out:

    Gixxer.com

There are A LOT of meathead/squids on there but some good info too

    Rear seat removal??

there was a time where I would have asked myself if this was a serious question. But then I went on gixxer.com....

Seriously, some of the questions people ask on that forum blow your mind.

    Rear seat removal??

it seems 95% of people that ride gixxxaaa's are of a different breed

ie-a kid on the same construction site has a 06 or 07 600 with a flat in the middle and 2" chicken strips rear tire.

i got to talking with the kid, asking him how he likes the bike because i know what i nice machine it is. he tells me he likes it ok but is pissed that the new 600 is so heavy up front witch makes it hard for wheelies. and also hates the megaphone exhaust.

i say yeah both are due to extensive research and development to make the bike more stable and flickable etc etc

i could go on but the conversation i had with him hurt my head. and his bike will soon hurt others as he is looking for a D+D pipe

so Wfd38383 don't be that guy in the 95% of gixxa riders. i know your new to bikes but please take a leason from alex, billy, bill, or cheese and become one of the %5 of gsxr riders

thank you that is all. i return you to your original thread already in progress
