    Rear vs front tire question

I and others I know almost allways

use 2 rear tires for every front tire.

Note All street zero track and I change when wear bars show.

Is that your experience or different

    Rear vs front tire question

This must be for track use, since both of my Avon Azaros were mounted at the same time. 11,000 miles later and the rear still has a few thou left and the front not so many.

    Rear vs front tire question

It depends on how you ride. I get about two front tires to every three rear tires. I'm pretty hard on the throttle and brakes, but my bike only makes about 60-65hp so it's not as hard on rear tires as a sportbike would be. And I also brake almost entirely with my front brake.

Rich, it would be cheaper to carry a little corner speed. Lol!

+1 on that, riding on half worn out front tires sucks, even though the fronts aren't near the wear indicators I still swap in pairs, I used to stretch the fronts out (3 rears to 2 fronts) , not worth it for the loss in confidence, especially on wet roads
