    rebel 500 stype bikes

So I dont know why but that style... Bobber? has caught my eye. i saw a matte gray honda rebel 500 the other day and well it looked real nice.

Its a 500 probably too beginner for me ( power wise etc)

What are more"mature" bobber styles? I saw the other cruiser styles honda offered but nothing caught my eye

Think cruising, no long hauls , ride to work etc slightly spirited riding.

I still have my eye on a Hypermotard owever

Tirumph Bobber is definitely the class of the field, not too easy on the wallet though. That said, it's less than the Street Bob, which is an overpriced turd. You have the Scout Bobber, and I love the Scout, but it looks too modern to be a "bobber," although retro isn't technically part of what defines a bobber....I expect I'd just go for a standard Scout if I were inclined in that direction. The only one I think I'd pay real money for is the sub-300 lb CCM Spitfire Bobber but alas its only sold in the UK.

Yea that Rebel itself is super small. A friend of mine bought one for her first bike and I got the pleasure of slabbing it home for her. The Triumph Bobber is a sweet machine if you're into that kind of bike. It's rare that I'd suggest a Harley but there are a few Sportster trims that might fit the bill, maybe the Forty Eight? Something a bit in between (both in size and price) might be a Yamaha Bolt?

Is there not a BMW R nine T permutation that fits this? The "pure"?

I haven't ridden the Rebel 500. But kicking tires in a showroom left me horribly unimpressed. Reminds me of the Yamaha/Star Bolt (which I have ridden). The Bolt is arguably the biggest pile of shit I've ever ridden this side of a Royal Enfield. Way, way too much form over function on that one.

R9Ts are pretty badass bikes, especially when given the bobber treatment. They can hold their own on a racetrack too fwiw.
